Interval Training to Build Muscle or Lose Weight

If you want to build muscle, you need to add some form of resistance training to your workouts. You might think this means hitting the weight machines at the gym, but there is another way. Transform Your Body in Less Time Than You Think

How much exercise do you need to transform your body? 90 MINUTES A DAY? 60 MINUTES? 45? Keep in mind, I’m talking about major fat-burning and muscle-building. What if I said 25 MINUTES A DAY? Yes, just 25 minutes a day … and only 5 DAYS A WEEK. That’s less time than you’d spend watching some TV shows. Probably less time you wait in line at the coffee shop on busy mornings. But in that small amount of time—all with only 2 MONTHS of workouts—you will experience exercise like you’ve never seen before. The secret? FOCUS. Simple focus … which, if you think about it, is the secret to just about every success in life. Focus in on what is going to give you maximum growth, and let everything else fall to the wayside. What Do You Do After Insanity? Life After Insanity Workout

A comment posted by a reader the other day gave me an idea for a new post. He asked about what he could do to maintain his muscles and tone once he’d finished the Insanity workout routine. What do you do after Insanity? It’s a good question, and one I’ll hopefully address in this post. Life After Insanity You have a few options once you’ve finished your first round of the Insanity workout. What you do from here depends on your preference, which workouts you enjoy most and what your next goals are. You should always be setting up new goals for yourself and assessing those goals as you progress forward. Firstly, be sure to abide by your recovery week. You don’t want to push yourself too hard immediately, but of course you won’t want to be lounging around doing nothing every day. Summer is just around the corner, and now is the time to get in gear! Stick With Insanity Your first option is of course to continue...
