What Equipment Is Needed For P90X?
In fact, no gym or fancy equipment is necessary for P90X. That said, I’m going to outline some basic extras you will want to get, and then some advanced but highly recommended extras to really enhance your P90X exercise routine.
Basic Extras You Need
- P90X Pull Up Bar – you will make use of this in 3 of the 12 workout DVDs, so it’s quite important to have
- Dumbbells – really, this is a basic that anybody looking for a good workout should have in the home. They get used extensively throughout the P90X program, so again get your hands on a pair of dumbbells
- Resistance Bands – Alternatively, resistance bands can perform the same function as a pair of dumbbells. They both provide the resistance needed to work your muscles as hard as you can.
Advanced Extras – Optional
- P90X Recovery Drink – you will most likely see the option to buy this in conjunction with the main P90X course. It is well worth the investment.
